• Career Pursuits: Many of our dancers and teachers are actively pursuing careers in dance and the arts in higher education and the community.

• Competitions: Participation in local competitions and conventions including Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) , California Dance Classics (CDC), Rainbow, Star Systems, Bravo, Countdown, Jump, with recognition for honorable mentions and top overall finishes.

• Joffrey Ballet: Summer intensive auditions are held at Dance Works typically in March of each year. 

• Master Classes: Such as Roni Mahler, Slava Belinsky, Lisa Donmail- Reeve, Yusha Marie Sorzano, Mathew Prescott and Phil Colgan from Hamilton.

 

• Media Appearances: Our faculty and students have appeared in Broadway National Tours, independent films, external promotional videos and commercials, TV shows like "Dance Moms" and "This Is Us", world premier ballets with the American Ballet Theater (ABT) and Bolshoi Ballet and the proposal company The Heart Bandits.

 

• Performance Venues: Students have performed at iconic locations like the Statue of Liberty, USS Intrepid in NYC, Disneyland and Walt Disney World, the crypto.com arena (formerly the Staples Center), the Honda Center, Toyota Sports Arena and even a Carnival Cruise.

 

• Sports Shows: Performances at halftime and pre-game shows the Los Angeles Angels, Harlem Globetrotters, LA and South Bay Lakers, and Nascar Bash events.

 

• Summer Intensive Attendance: Our students have been accepted and received scholarships to programs the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive and Trainee Programs,  American Ballet Theater (ABT), The Rock School for Dance Education,  Backhouse Dance Company and  State Street Ballet Company.
