Click here to Hello Dancers and Families: I hope everyone is doing well this week. Here is the news: * Thank you all for your continued assistance in parking on the side of the building and walking your children in and out of the studio. I know it takes time, but I appreciate you taking the extra minutes to do so. Our lease depends on complying with parking and we have a neighbor that has been difficult at best with several tenants, not just us. * Disney Team and Dream Team I sent a previous message if you did not get it please let me know. * Recital commitment forms for our ballet, team and soloists winter performance are due by the 21. If you haven't turned a form in yet there is still time. The show is at Orange Coast College on Saturday, January 28th. The in studio- recital picture day schedule will be out by next week so look for that as well. If you have any questions just ask. Reminder, our ballet classes do not perform in June so this is your recital. (Exception of our Ballet Repertoire class). * For dancers attending the one day Titans dance convention in Irvine on the 23, I expect the schedule to be released by next week so I will keep you posted. From past experience you can expect to be dancing somewhere between the hours of 9-4:00 give or take. Food will be available for purchase but I suggest bringing lunch and snacks as the lines are long. Bring a hydroflask for water you'll need it and water facilities are usually provided. * More: Competition soloists - Just letting you know competition fees are due November 18 for Rainbow and Star Systems. We have preregistered for each event and the Rainbow event is already sold out! I have forms I will be sending out soon with more information and thank you. Mark your calendars now for our in studio fee Nutcracker Holiday Show. December 3 and our in studio Holiday Open House Fundraiser on December 17th. More information coming. * Looking Ahead; Nutcracker brush up rehearsal on Saturday, October 22 from 3-4:00 for dancers performing in the December 3rd show. Closed for Halloween Closed for Thanksgiving Break: Monday, November 21-Saturday, November 26 Closed for Winter Recess: Wednesday, December 21 - Tuesday, January 3 Winter Recital in Studio Pictures: Friday-Saturday, January 13 and 14th Winter Recital: January 28 Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive Auditions at the studio; March 4th!
